The Hellenic Tartan Design
HAS is the home of our Hellenic Tartan, officially registered in the Scottish Register of Tartans on 17 May 2022 under no.13509 and with the Office for Intellectual Property Rights.
This tartan was designed and created in May 2021 to celebrate 200 years of Hellenic Independence and the creation of Greece as a country as we know it today. Its design represents the integration of the Hellenes from Greece and Cyprus with their local communities in Scotland and the shared love of their respective heritages. Its colours are intended to reflect key elements of the history and culture of the three countries.
